 How to make a passive income in 2023 is a question that a lot of people have after the pandemic and with a lot of people having a reluctance to return to a normal job they are looking for other options. Making money online is attractive and even with a passive income will require some work upfront on your end but it is possible. Here are three ways to make a passive income in 2023.

Auto-blogging

Auto blogging is exactly what is sounds like, you are taking posts or articles that other people have written and automatically putting them on your sight. Conversely you could just have an AI like Anyword.ai write the articles for you but that's not really passive, is it? 

With an auto blog or news aggregator site you only have to set up the automation then wait for traffic to naturally come in. Take for example you wanted to make an auto blog about health and fitness. I would recommend using word plug for this as it just makes it easier. First install a plugin like Feedzy, then find where you want to get your articles from. You might try Men's Health, WebMD, or bodybuilder.com. Get their RSS feed then plug it into Feedzy. After that set up your website to display the articles. Make sure that people can click back to the website the article is coming from. Do not claim any ownership over the article nor should you use something like adsense for this site. One it would take to long and there are better ways to make money. 

Once all of this is set you can go to Clickbank, Digistore24 or another affiliate network. Then place banner ads for the products that you have chosen to promote on your site. If you have gone with bodybuilder.com as a source of articles then you would probably want to choose something like weightlifting supplements to sell, or training programs. If you know about bodybuilding you might even offer your own training programs as something that people can buy.

Write a book

Again not super passive but there are ways around doing the work, and no I would not recommend AI for this unless it's not fiction, even then not a great idea. According to Bernie Sanders the best way to become a millionaire is to write a book. You do not actually have to write the book yourself you just have to come up with an idea for it, and maybe outline the book. Then you can go to Upwork and pay someone to write the book for you. Writers in the Philippines only charge about seven dollars an hour. I would recommend something in the romance or erotic as those are often the best sellers. Use a pen name if you want and make money. Draft2digital.com will put your book into every online book retailer and even some for libraries as well, including Amazon.

Sell a course

If you have knowledge of something or some skill, you can create an online course and sell it on Etsy. A woman did this with all of her old nursing textbooks and made around 2 million dollars in about 2 years, there are other platforms as well where you can offer your courses and sell them. I know one guy who make four million dollars just selling video instructions on learning English as a second language. The possibilities are out there.
